Despite paying INR2,635 (about USD50) the train-ride that I had in the 2A class carriage from Chennai to Varanasi was a little disappointing. Therefore, I downgraded my seat to the 3A class this time for another overnight journey from Varanasi to Agra where India's most iconic architecture "Taj Mahal" is.

My 3A class ticket cost INR808 and my seat/berth was more or less the same as that 2A-class seat from Chennai to Varanasi; it was just a little less spacious than the 2A class.
The train departed from Varanasi at 16:50pm yesterday and arrived in Agra just after 6am today without any problems. Very easy.

!!!!! Note !!!!!
Flying Elephant Hostel is where I'm staying while in Agra. It's INR350 for a very basic 6-bed dorm with AC inside the room. Considering it's a dormitory, INR350 is a little expensive by Indian standards.
