I could have stayed in Agra for a couple more days and gone to see two other world heritage sites, but the Taj Mahal was superb and I was already satisfied enough. Furthermore, many tuk-tuk drivers and hawkers with connections to nearest hotels and guesthouses in Agra really annoyed me EVERY TIME I went out on the streets. It was time for me to move on to my next destination - Mumbai.

My last train ride from Varanasi to Agra was in the 3A class. It wasn't amazingly good, but good enough because my upper berth had a bottle-holder and a power-supply for only INR808 (about USD15.00).
I still don't know why, but I somehow chose a 2A class seat for Mumbai this time and it cost me INR2080 (about USD40.00); not cheap at all.... And when I booked my train ticket, I definitely made a request for a lower seat/berth, but my seat turned out to be an upper one again!

This was my third time to forcibly sleep on a tiny upper berth with no window and, unfortunately, there was neither a bottle-holder nor a power-supply but only a tiny reading light attached on the ceiling this time. Where was all my INR2080 spent?!
Nonetheless, one lucky thing during this train-ride was that the passenger for the lower seat/berth wasn't on board till late in the afternoon. So I could sit "normally" on the lower seat for a while and enjoy looking out of the window.

The photo below shows my lunch on the train. It was vegetable curry.
It tasted very ordinary and salty, but at least edible. I avoided the salad (slices of cucumber and tomato) due to having a serious doubt over any already-peeled or sliced veggies and fruits in this country.

The train left Agra Cantt Station (Such a bad name!) around 9am and is supposed to arrive in Mumbai 7am tomorrow.
